About My Christian Meditations

The purpose of my Christian meditations is to encourage your daily walk with God. The beautiful images and peaceful instrumental music help you to step away from today's rush and worry so you can focus on God's word.

Here's why I feel my Christian meditations are special:

YOU GET AN OVERVIEW OF GOD'S WORD: Rather than focus on one chapter or book of the Bible, I start with a theme and select verses regarding that theme from both the Old and New Testaments.
THEY FIT YOUR TIME SCHEDULE: Spend 10 minutes or an hour - you control the speed at which you go through the slides, and you can choose to go through a single section or more, depending on how much time you have available.
YOU HAVE A CHOICE OF BIBLE VERSION: all meditations are available in both King James and World English Bible (modern English) versions.
THE FORMAT PROVIDES MORE DEPTH: I select the individual images to help establish the mood and meaning of the scripture verses they go with.

Using Christian Meditation CDs/DVDs

Each Christian meditation CD or DVD consists of a series of "slides", broken up into four sections. Each Bible verse slide is followed by a "thought to consider" slide. You have plenty of time (30 seconds) to read each verse or thought.

Each section will take about 11 minutes to run on its own. You can use each section on its own as a mini-meditation, or proceed through all four for a longer meditation.

The last two slides in each section list the Bible verses for that section, and the music and photo credits.

CDs: When you start a meditation CD, it will proceed automatically through the four sections of the meditation. To stay longer on one slide, click on the "Pause" button (with the "||" symbol) at the top right of the screen. Click on the "Pause" button again to go on.

Use the other control buttons to return to the first slide ("Home"), go to the "Previous slide", go to the "Next slide", "Print" a slide, and "End slideshow".

The CD will continue automatically from one section to the next. To jump to a different section or re-start a section, use the grey navigation buttons you find on the "credits" slide at the end of each section.

DVDs: To use a Christian meditation DVD, pop it in your DVD player and set up your TV as usual for playing movies. The DVD will open to the menu screen; select whichever section you want to start watching. Each section will take about 11 minutes to run.

The DVD will proceed automatically from one section to the next; to skip a section, or start a different one, use your DVD remote to go back to the menu screen.
